Certificate II in Seafood Industry (Aquaculture)
Course No 6591 National Code: SFI 20104

Course Information

. This course will give you a comprehensive taste of the aquaculture industry and equip you with a range of valuable, basic aquaculture skills. The units in this course are prerequisites for the Certificate III, IV and Diploma courses. You can continue straight on in to the Certificate III course after completing the Certificate II. This course is registered for traineeships.

Study load

If you study the Certificate II in Seafood Industry (Aquaculture) full time it will take 1 semester (6 months), or it can be done part time over 1 year. It will require attendance at two one week workshop blocks, and home study using comprehensive course workbooks. Support is available from teaching staff on a free call number or by e-mail. Additional study materials are available on the Internet.

To complete the course in 1 semester requires study at home plus attendance at the two workshop blocks.
