Natfish offers a Certificate III in Transport & Distribution, Maritime Operations, which allows learners to sample major marine industry sectors while gaining practical work focused skills that a particular industry would expect from new employees. |
The course is delivered face to face at the Coffs Harbour campus as a full time course over 1 semester. Attendance is required for 3 to 4 days per week and there is a one week field trip to Hastings Point Marine Education Centre.
Marine Studies can also be studied by distance flexible delivery through Natfish.
Costs
There are two different charges when you enrol in the marine studies course - the TAFE NSW Fee and the Course Related Charge, as well as some optional expenses which the teachers will outline to you when you start.

The Course Related Charge must be paid before you go on a field trip.
Student Association Fee
We recommend that all students join the Student Association. The association provides many services to Natfish students, including discounts at many retail outlets around the state and is constantly improving student facilities on the campus providing things like outdoor furniture and much more.
